Becca Stengel

Becca is a licensed professional counselor who has a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Evangel University. With a background in education, Becca has a strong understanding of child development. She loves seeing kids blossom when given the support that they need. As a parent, it has been a privilege to experience the challenges and joys of parenthood in a personal way. In her spare time, Becca enjoys knitting, playing with her rescue German Shepherd, going on hikes, and camping. She is the best one-handed therapist you'll even meet.

We’ve all had difficult experiences that bring us to our knees. Experiences that shift the way we see the world, see ourselves, the way we move through life. 

Sometimes it’s hard to move on from those moments until we’re able to experience them with someone who really understands.

I’m really good at finding hope in difficult situations. I am skilled at opening up lines of communication in damaged family relationships.

A core feature of my work is helping you work through feelings of shame and worthlessness–I’m particularly good at helping teen boys and girls. Many of my clients have been kids and families who didn’t ever want to be in a situation to need help.

Clients have said that I am the first person that sees the whole picture and values who they are while also helping them confront what’s not working.

When you work with me,  you can expect me to listen to your experiences and help you find real solutions to the issues you face. I have training in evidence-based tools such as EMDR, Theraplay, Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI)  and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) to help people work through the challenges they experience and move forward with their lives. 

We will create a custom plan for each unique person, focusing on what you would like to improve. Together, we can help you and your family break free from the pain of the past and create a beautiful future

INTAKE ASSESSMENT (90 MINUTES): $240

SESSION COST (50 MINUTES)- $125
