Roe is a Spiritual Director who provides a safe space where people can explore their diverse experiences, and beliefs about God. Part of the journey with a Spiritual Director is to unpack stories of harm that can interrupt one’s relationship with God. As a Spiritual Director, she has compassionately journeyed with men and women experiencing various challenges in their relationship with God. In 2005 Roe received her master’s degree in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care. She is a Spiritual Director, a Supervisor, Retreat Speaker and has been Adjunct Faculty at Talbot in previous years. Roe has completed additional training in understanding PTSD, using art in direction, Equine Assisted Therapy and trauma care by The Allender Center where she completed the Narrative Focus Trauma Care Certification (Level I, II and III).
Roe likes to hike, ski, explore new places, sail, and read while sitting quietly by a stream with her husband. She has worked with trafficked victims, and the unhoused community over the years, and has a heart for the marginalized.
